Hello, I’m Lucy and I am the founder and Design Director of

Studio Sempura. 

 

I established Studio Sempura in 2022 in order to create an environmentally conscious interior architectural and interior design studio that strives to create an awareness to sustainability. 

​

My deep routed connection to nature and the environment stems from being brought up on the North Coast of Cornwall. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and it’s conservation.

 

I achieved a First Class BA Hons Degree in Interior Architecture and Design before beginning my career in London for an mulit-award winning design studio specialising in luxury spa, wellness and hospitality interiors followed by an esteemed residential and commercial interiors design practice.  Over the last ten years, I have acquired a wealth of professional experience in interior architecture, bespoke joinery, spatial planning and lighting design that has set me on my pathway to create timeless sustainable and biophilic designs.​

During a project, I take care of every detail and always prioritise my clients requirements first.  My designs are tailored to suit each individual project striving to create unique, sophisticated and timeless design. 

 

I am always drawn to natural textures, layers and colours ​and love mixing pre-loved, antique furniture with modern clean lined, Scandinavian architecture to create a timeless eclectic look, whilst also reducing environmental impact.
